Hanging Out with Bike Racks Dot Com!

No, hanging bikes up on the walls isn’t a dream. The dream is real! Ha-ha. It’s no totally possible to hang a bike, and enjoy it later. How do you do it? Let me explain to you how. Feast you eyes on some serious awesomeness. This amazing Aluminum Overhead Garage Rack and Hoist takes your bike, and HANGS IT!

Pretty neat, huh? The first time I installed mine, I almost couldn’t believe I wasn’t dreaming. Like a criminal in a weird foreign country that doesn’t give criminals any human rights, your bike will hang, and the Aluminum Overhead Garage Rack’s tough cam lock and frame is just as tough as that weird foreign country’s laws. You know what? It also holds ladders, if your bike is out in the shop. Or you’re out riding it. It’ll actually safely hoist up anything you want, up to 75 pounds! That’s great for my cramped garage. There just so much stuff around in there, the Aluminum Overhead Garage Rack really helps. It helps your bike “rise above”! (Ha-ha, sorry, bad pun.)

I’d nab one of these Aluminum Overhead Garage Racks quick, and hang your goods up, if I were you. You’ll be envied by your neighbors, and like I said, your kids will love watching things float up there. Mine do. Sometimes I still think I’m dreaming when I look at it. But then I think about how much value it gives me for the price, well, I know I must be dreaming! I love it!!

  1. Hey, Larry,
You are certainly right about how this hanging garage rack saves space. I live in an apartment, and have a one-car garage that just has room for my Honda CRV, so this rack is perfect for getting my bike off the floor and out of range of being hit by the CRV! I am excited to see this great blog about bike racks. I have recently opened my own website, offering bike racks by Yakima, Thule, Softride and Saris. I have tried to make it a site for the family rider, sort of the “Mom and Pop Store” of bike racks, rather than a huge crowded site that is intimidating to navigate. I guess the most unique part of it is that I did not create the site until I turned 65 years old. As I am sure you will agree, it’s never too late to hop on and ride again! Thanks again for this great blog. You have inspired me !

  2. Hey, Larry,
Great post about the Aluminum Overhead Garage Rack and Hoist. Living in an apartment with a one-car (barely) garage, this rack would be perfect for getting my bike offthe floor, and out of the way of my Honda CRV! I back my CRV in, to make it easy to get out in the morning, and have had many near misses with my bike. There would be no worries with this rack. By the way, you may also be interested in my website, http://www.beyoung bikeracksplus.com. I offer over 50 receiver hitch and trunk mounted bike racks, built by Yakima, Thule, Softride and Saris. A very versatile one is the Saris 812 T-Bones 2 bike rack. It adapts to both 1 1/4 and 2-inch receivers, and comes in both 2 and 3 bike versions. The really neat thing about it, is that it comes with its own floor atand, so that when the rack is not on your vehicle, you can simply transfer it to the floor atand and hang your bikes on it until the next time your plan to ride. It keeps your bikes off the floor, although obviously not as high as the Aluminum Overhead Garage Rack and Hoist.
