Make Sure The Bike You Rack is Still In One Piece

Mark Twain said “Learn to ride a bicycle. You will not regret it if you live.” Ha-ha. He really did, you can look it up. But his point is that sometime you can fall down, or, God forbid, get in a bad accident. But he also thinks Bicycling is worth it — and so do I.
Keeping safe and learning the rules of the road isn’t just something kids with training wheels should think about – absent minded adults are just as likely to end up under the wheels of a Greyhound Bus if they don’t mind their surroundings. The terrific site bicyclesafe.com has everything you need to know about keeping your Bicycle, and your body, all in one piece. Did you know that 33,000 people die in car crashes in the U.S. each year? That’s terrible. You know what’s worse? 1 in 41 is a bicyclist.
And it goes without saying that if you survive an accident, chances are your Bike will not. Hanging a broken Bicycle on a Bike Rack is not only sad, but it’s a tragic reminder that sometimes things can go wrong.
Don’t fret though, Bicycle Enthusiasts, and don’t even consider giving up the Bicycle Lifestyle (and by extension, the Bike Rack) – because the hard data clearly shows that a well-informed, well-aware, and well-prepared Bicyclist is a healthy, long-living Bicyclist. Never let the dangers of anything in life keep you from doing them – don’t let fear enter your mind. With sites like bicyclesafe.com on our side, and we can all breath a sigh of relief knowing we’ve learning the rules of the road, the tricks of the trade, and the importance of Bicycle safety! Knowledge is power!
