The Very Perfect Rack for Bikes

Hey sometimes we get so seroius around here that I wanted to lighten it up a bit with some fun pictures! Wild! I guess the sight of a guy riding a bike out on the sand was crazy, and all the beach people were all like “WHAT?!” and he was all “look at my big tires!” and then he drove past the sand, into the ocean, and he was all “I can drive my bicycle over water itself!” and everyone was shock and the coast guards though he was a terrorist and shot him dead. That’s the sad reason that you won’t be buying his invention anytime soon: it’s Exhibit C in a pending wrongful death trial. It’s safe to say, his invention died with him. What didn’t die, though, is value at Stacks and Stacks. It’s here to stay.

Look at this awesome Bike Rack For 6 Bikes with Top Rack-Carbon Steel I found! Dude, for real. This easy to use bike rack stores up to 6 bikes upright! Not 5, 6!! It’s got a sleek euro styled powder coated steel frame that cradles front wheels securely and conveniently, and a heavy duty carbon steel frame that uses plastic inserts at all connections to eliminate metal to metal contact that can lead to rust and corrosion and all those darn hardware and assembly tools are included and that means you can use it also as an accessory storage rack that holds helmets, book bags and more! Pretty cool. And while it’s innovative, I think it’s also safe to say the inventor of this beauty is not wrongfully dead. No, he’s totally rich!

Coin Up, Bikes Down: This Bike Rack Reminds Me of TRON.

Filed under: Free Standing Bike racks, The Cutting Edge — Tags: — Larry @ 2:37 pm

I’m going to show you a picture of a really cool Bike Rack that I found online at Stacks And Stacks, and then I want you to tell me that movie it reminds you of! Okay? Cool! No scrolling down to see the answer, either – no cheating!! Okay, ready? Here’s a picture of the Bike Rack – 2 Bike Road Comfort Stand:

Okay, I’ll give you 3 guesses to tell me what movie that looks like. No, not Pee Wee’s Big Adventure. He only had one bike, and it didn’t look anything like these two bikes. Guess again. I’ll give you a hint, think of a movie that is computerized! Okay, go! No, not Ghost Rider. He had only one bike, too. And his head was computerized. I’ll give you another clue, think of the word electronic. ElecTRONic. Okay, go! No, it’s not Wargames.  Yes, the kid was on a bike, but he wasn’t IN a computer! Okay, you give up. It’s TRON. The movie TRON. Remember Tron? Look at this!!!

That Bike Rack – 2 Bike Road Comfort is totally a Lightcycle from Tron! Well, it’s not the lightcycle part really, but when the bikes are on the rack, they look exactly the same. Which is really cool. And it made me think about the future and how bike racks will change in the future and how the Bike Rack – 2 Bike Road Comfort is going to be probably the benchmark for modern bike rack innovations in the years to come. And why not. Why struggle with obstructed walkways, damage to vehicles and wasted space when this bike rack does it all? Really! This space-saving bicycle rack is designed to hold two bikes of any style no matter what you and your family’s preference in bikes. The supercool, revolutionary design of this 2-bike stand accommodates front basket bikes, free-style bikes, hybrids and those BMX bikes if you have them, too! This garage bike rack keeps bicycles out of your way, yet is easily accessible with its patented nesting feature and narrow configuration that allows for a full walk space between the bikes and your vehicle, JUST LIKE TRON! Perfect for garages, apartments, dorms and basements, this bicycle storage rack eliminates bicycle sprawl, by establishing a consistent return-to location for a more organized space. It’s that cool. So make sure you think of Tron when you go shopping for a new Bike Rack, and be sure to pick up this awesome Bike Rack – 2 Bike Road Comfort! Good luck!

Take a Bold Look into the Future! (Then Figure out Where To Rack Your Bike!)

Take a look at that! Ha-ha! Can you believe your eyes?! Man, it looks like bicycling as we know it is over with!! But it isn’t — what you’re looking at is just a really neat future car that looks like a Jetsons car that fell on a bicycle. Don’t worry. Catherine Healey has a pretty cool blog on the subject, that you can here here, at this link right here. It seems like these days, besides all the troubling economic news, it seems like all the innovations are just getting cooler and cooler! How about a cool way to rack a bike inside your garage or home or apartment, quick and easy? I’m glad you asked, friends, because I have just the thing!

This is a 2 Bike Gravity Rack that is just the best for keeping 2 of your bikes safe and racked. There’s no need for complicated wires and pulleys and nails, as cool as those things are, because this bicycle rack simply leans against the wall! That’s called perfect if you live in an apartments and small storage sheds, it won’t even upset your walls! The 2 Bike Gravity Rack features independently adjustable arms, and it totally fits just about any style of bike. Well, not the bike picture up above (that crazy red bike of the future thing that might just be a car), but your bike, probably. It just goes to show you that sometimes, neat future things are zippy and fun to look at, but when it comes down to it, the best kind of bike racks and bike stands and 2 bike gravity racks and the kind that are simple and easy to use. Keep it simple, Simon! Good luck!

Hang 10 Speed: The Future Is Now

Innovations are coming at us so fast these days, it’s easy to forget that not so long ago you needed to carry loose change with you to make a phone call on the road, and computers were 9 foot tall air conditioned cabinets with less storage than 1/16th of your laptop. It’s crazy, isn’t it? But the world of Bicycles and Bike Racks are no strangers to quantum leaps in design and technology, either. Way back in the ‘30s we were using high-tech alloy steels for Bicycle frames and fork tubes – these days men of science have given us aluminum alloys, carbon fiber and titanium frames to boot. And Lance Armstrong thanks them.

Why then should the classic outdoor Bike Rack not be afforded some Star Trek-era innovation? Some futuristic coolness that is both visually interesting and helps to relive the congested Bicycle friendly neighborhoods and downtown areas? Well friends, they have. Take a look at this amazing bit of invention: The Anti Gravity Bike Rack. Abhinav Dapke of Bahrain and India has designed what he playfully calls a “parking stand design for congested bicycle parking.” Modest, he is. Because what Mr. Dapke has designed is not only functional, not only fun, but I think it might qualify as the first piece of Bike Rack Art.
The Anti Gravity Bike Rack keeps multiple Bicycles high off the ground, safe from thieves, children or floods. And the Bike Rack’s security is completely modern: each control panel features a finger print recognition sensor! Thanks to the Human Race’s one-of-a-kind fingerprints, no one is going to walk off with your Bicycle. The Rack’s control panel branches out of the trunk at user friendly height, beneath the hanging Bicycles, so it’s ergonomic and easy to use.

The Dapke Rack is a breath of fresh air, intensely creative, and an exciting look at where the Bike Racks of tomorrow might be going. I hope major corporations follow the lead, put this terrific innovation into use, and we start seeing Anti Gravity Bike Racks on street corners across America. Thanks for the inspiring ideas, Mr. Abhinav!
